Ingredients
- 1 cup Cooked U.S. Red Kidney Beans, mashed
- ½ cup Left-Over Fried Chicken, flaked
- 2 to 3 tablespoons Flour
- 1 small Onion, minced
- 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 Large Egg, lightly beaten
- Cooking Oil, for frying
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- Catsup, as needed
For dredging
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 Large Egg, lightly beaten
- 100 g Bread Crumbs
Directions
- Mix together the red kidney beans, flaked chicken, flour, onion and garlic. Add the egg and mix well.
- Scoop a tablespoonful of the bean mixture and form into small patty.
- Dip the patties in flour, egg, and then into the bread crumbs. Chill briefly.
- In a skillet, heat the oil then deep fry the patties until golden brown.
- Remove patties from heat and drain well. Serve with ketchup.
